After cities were completely overrun by gangs and a population was increasingly victimized by climate change, the focus shifts to a catastrophic health situation in Haiti. At least 1.3 million people have fled the violence to more urbanized areas.

Our destination is Cap-Haïtien, a city without an effective sewage system, where an NGO is implementing an organic waste collection program to try to minimize health risks.
