Alisa Miller: Why we know less than ever about the world
Author:
Brian Mahoney, Pulitzer Center
Alisa Miller, the CEO of Public Radio International, recently spoke at a TED.com webcast about the lack of substantive foreign reporting in the mainstream media.
Miller said that foreign reporting in the American media has become increasingly myopic despite Americans being more internationally engaged than ever before. Her graphs and visuals of the disproportionate international media coverage are particularly alarming.
