The most significant architectural and anti-fascist landmark in the former Yugoslavia has been neglected and left as a ruin for decades.

Having survived the 1990s Bosnian war, the Partisan Necropolis in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, now faces its biggest threat and imminent disappearance as organized neofascists are intent on destroying the cemetery and all it stands for.

A small group of residents and activists are fighting to protect the necropolis and its history for future generations. However, with a lack of political will and fear of intimidation and attacks, the necropolis defenders face an uphill struggle.
