Yuda R. Yudistira is a nature photographer, orchidologist, and connoisseur of various other plants. He is an independent researcher and is affiliated with the Surabaya Wetland Biota Conservation Foundation. Has explored forests in Java, Sumatra, and Papua in the framework of research and travel.
His scientific publications have been published in international plant journals including Phytotaxa, De Orchidee, and Taiwania.
