Valente Rosas

Valente Rosas began his photojournalism career in 2002. Since 2005, he has been a photojournalist for the Mexican newspaper El Universal, where he reports on drug trafficking, the environment, security, and natural disasters.
He holds a degree in journalism and collective communication from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
Rosas won the GDA Journalism Award, in the category of Environmental Journalism, for a report on the Mayan Train.
