Dr. Tonita Dozier
MEDIA SPECIALIST AT HARDY MIDDLE SCHOOL IN WASHINGTON, D.C.
Dr. Tonita R. Dozier has worked as an educator in both the District of Columbia Public and Charter school systems for nearly 15 years. She holds a BA from North Carolina State University, MA from East Carolina University, and an MLIS/certificate in School Library Media from the University of Maryland College Park. She holds a Doctoral degree in Religious Education and is a former One World Education Teaching Fellow. Her students have had their essays published and achieved outstanding success on district wide reading and writing assessments. Prior to becoming an educator, she worked as a national television Political Producer. In her spare time, she loves reading and spending time with family.
