Soumya Swaminathan

Soumya Swaminathan is a pediatrician and a former chief scientist at the World Health Organization. She's also a former director general of the Indian Council of Medical Research.
At WHO, she led the Science Division, which, according to WHO's website, harnesses "the power of science to achieve health for all."
