Selene Mazón

Selene Mazón was born and raised on the outskirts of Mexico City. She is a production assistant at Radio Ambulante and a member of the Latin American Network of Young Journalists of Distintas Latitudes.
Mazón served as editorial coordinator at Travesías Media and has contributed to outlets such as Expansión, Tec Review, Gatopardo, and The Telegraph, among others.
She studied communication sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. In 2020, she was awarded a master’s degree in digital and interactive narratives in London through the Chevening Scholarship. In 2022, her short film was selected for the fifth edition of the Experimental Practice and International Short Film Competition.
