Seema Yasmin is a multimedia reporter, medical doctor, poet and professor. She is a John S. Knight journalism fellow at Stanford University where she is investigating the way misinformation spreads during epidemics. Seema trained in journalism at the University of Toronto and in medicine at the University of Cambridge. She received an Emmy award for her reporting on neglected tropical diseases and was a Pulitzer prize finalist in 2017 with a team at The Dallas Morning News for coverage of a mass shooting. Her first book will be published in 2018 and she is currently writing her second book.
