Roxanne Joseph

Roxanne Joseph is an experienced data journalist, researcher, and project manager with a history of working in the non-profit sector. Her interest is in renewable energy and the Just Transition in South Africa, digitally-enabled wildlife trafficking, and illicit financial flow.

Joseph works with Oxpeckers as a project manager, data wrangler, and trainer on several of its wildlife and climate change programs and tools. These include the #PowerTracker and Mpumalanga #PowerTracker mentorship and training programs, where she has assisted the outlet’s editor to publish dozens of data-driven investigations into the shift from fossil fuels to cleaner, greener energy, and shebworked on new and exclusive datasets around the issue.
