Robin Samuelsen

Robin was born and raised in Dillingham and has been a life-long commercial salmon fisherman in Bristol Bay. He is a Curyung Tribal Council chief and a director on the board of the Bristol Bay Native Corporation. As past President/CEO and current board chairman of Bristol Bay Economic Development Corporation, he has guided the company from its beginning in 1992, into its present position of a major economic force in the Bristol Bay region.
A former member of the North Pacific Fishery Management Council, Alaska Board of Fisheries and Nushagak Advisory Council, Robin remains a strong champion for the conservation and protection of marine resources Bristol Bay.
