Paloma Laudet

GRANTEE

Paloma Laudet is a freelance photographer and is a member of the Collectif Item, a French group of photographers and documentary storytellers. Laudet is based in Paris. 

After studying photojournalism at the EMI-CFD in Paris, she documented the consequences of European anti-immigration policies through the building of walls across the continent. The project No Man’s Land was awarded by the Bourse du Talent in 2022 and exhibited at the French National Library. 

Laudet has been working in East Africa, where she collaborates with French and international media, including Le Monde, Libération, and The Guardian.

She is also a videographer. Her work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in the territories that fall under the control of the M23 fighters, was exhibited at Visa pour l’Image and was nominated for the Visa d’or News in 2025.
