Oscar Durand

Oscar Durand is a multimedia journalist experienced in photo, video, and audio storytelling for digital outlets. With his work, Durand wants people to have a more personal understanding of social issues and feel more connected to others. Between 2010 and 2019, he was based in Peru and Turkey, where he worked for news and humanitarian organizations. Currently, Durand is exploring the innovative use of technology in storytelling while pursuing a master's degree at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP).
