Omar T. Bobadilla

Omar T. Bobadilla is a multimedia journalist, full-stack designer, and a specialist in digital narratives.
He is currently the senior coordinator of multimedia and web design at Amazon Frontlines, an organization that works with Indigenous populations in the Amazon.
Bobadilla has worked in media such as Animal Político and N+Focus (TelevisaUnivision); in NGOs such as Mexicanos Contra la Corrupción y la Impunidad; and as a contributor to El Universal and Quinto Elemento Lab.
He has been part of multidisciplinary journalistic teams that have won the Ortega y Gasset Awards in 2017 and 2023, the IAPA Grants Awards for Excellence in Journalism, and the National Journalism Award in 2018 and 2019. He has also been nominated for the 2024 News and Documentary Emmy Awards.
