Olivia Miller

Olivia Miller is a visual arts educator at East Kentwood High School in Kentwood, Michigan. East Kentwood is the fourth most diverse school in the Nation with over ninety languages spoken. Olivia is passionate about Internationalizing her classroom and curriculum. She is an avid traveler and is a Fulbright Alumni, National Geographic and Lindblad Grosvenor Fellow, NEA Global Fellow, and a Fund for Teachers Fellow.
Olivia Miller is the three-dimensional visual arts teacher at East Kentwood High School in Kentwood, Michigan. She teaches at the most diverse school in Michigan and the fourth in the nation with over ninety languages represented. Her master’s dissertation was cultural responsiveness in the art classroom and is k-12 certified. She is passionate about internationalizing her classroom and curriculum through immersive project based learning. Olivia has received Fulbright, NEA Global Fellowship, National Geographic and Lindblad Grosvenor, and Fund for Teachers fellowships and believes that these experiential opportunities have inspired her pedagogy. In addition, Olivia is a mentor teacher at East Kentwood and works collaboratively with the STEAM program district wide to ignite the explorer mindset.
