Nyrola Elimä

Nyrola Elimä is an independent journalist specializing in human rights and supply chains. Her reporting and research have received an Emmy nomination and contributed to a Pulitzer Prize-winning project for BuzzFeed News.
She has written about Uyghur issues for The New Yorker, and her research, production, and writing have also appeared on BBC, CNN, The Information, and in The Spectator.
She is a Uyghur native of Xinjiang and lived for 25 years in China.
