Nigel Roberts


Nigel Roberts is a former sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. Roberts began his writing career as a speechwriter for Congressman Ed Towns. He has worked as a contributing writer for the Daytona Beach News Journal and The Champion Newspaper in metro Atlanta, where he covered the Georgia General Assembly, as well as the religion and legal beat. While working at the Champion, the Georgia Press Association awarded him three first-place prizes for his religion reporting. In 2011, Roberts began writing for digital news outlets. He covered the United Nations for, wrote for, and was an editor at for three years. His experience includes writing news scripts for live TV news broadcasts at Arise News and video news packages for BET News.
