Nicolas Axelrod

Nicolas Axelrod is a Bangkok-based cinematographer, specialising in documenting the adverse impacts of development on local communities and the environment.
He works with international broadcasters and streaming services, including National Geographic, CNN, Netflix, HBO, NBC, ABC and more. Axelrod has also developed films for humanitarian organizations, including UN agencies, WWF, Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International.
His photography has been featured in The New York Times, The Guardian, Time Magazine and National Geographic. Nick has been based in Southeast Asia since 2008.
