Natalia Castillo
2024 REPORTING FELLOW
Natalia Castillo is a student at the University of Pennsylvania studying Philosophy, Politics & Economics, concentrating in Globalization. Her research at Penn examines if attitudes toward the climate crisis can be developed to elicit positive, durable change in mitigation and adaptation efforts on the local and global scale. She is the editor-in-chief of Penn’s independent student arts and culture magazine, 34th Street, as well as the incoming editor-in-chief of the Penn Journal of Philosophy, Politics & Economics.
When she is not in the classroom or in the field reporting Natalia can be found in the pool playing water polo or in the Penn Mark's Family Writing Center helping her peers hone their writing skills.
