Mukhriz Hazim Mohammad Zabidi, from Perlis, Malaysia, joined news portal Malaysiakini in 2019 as a staff photographer. He uses his photography to empower the public by presenting stories about environmental and social justice issues.
His work has been published by The Malaysian Insider, the Malay Mail, the South China Morning Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, BBC, Smithsonian, Svara, and several more.
