Mariana Pineda

Mariana Pineda is an award-winning bilingual journalist with more than 20 years of experience producing multimedia stories for television, radio, and digital media.
She is a two-time Edward R. Murrow Award recipient and has also received several Emmy Awards, a Golden Mike Award, and two NAHJ Ñ Awards.
She currently works as a Texas correspondent for Radio Bilingüe, where she reports on immigration, public policy, climate, and issues affecting Latino communities.
Her journalism and professional development have included fellowships and programs with the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF), the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), the Walton Family Foundation, the Poynter Institute, and the Digital Democracy Institute of the Americas (DDIA).
