Maria Lisboa-Ward

Maria Lisboa-Ward is a senior pursuing a journalism and strategic communications degree at Northwestern University in Qatar.
In addition, she is a research fellow at NU-Q's Institute for Advanced Study in the Global South, where her research focuses on mobility and Brazilian social media.
She is originally from southern Brazil, but moved abroad for the first time at 16 years old, having since studied and worked in the U.S., U.K., Middle East, and Europe.
