Marcela Vecchione Gonçalves

Marcela Vecchione Gonçalves holds a doctorate in international relations and has experience in critical development studies, land and territory governance in the Panamazon region, and international cooperation between and for Indigenous peoples and traditional communities. 

She is a professor at the Center for Advanced Amazonian Studies NAEA/UFPA, where she works as a professor in the postgraduate program in Sustainable Development of the Humid Tropics PPGDSTU NAEA at the Federal University of Pará. 

Vecchione Gonçalves is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Development Policy at the University of Antwerp, where she is part of the Environmental Policy Instruments across Commodity Chains project and is part of the research network Properties in Transformation.
