Lorena Meléndez

Venezuelan journalist Lorena Meléndez is based in Brazil, with experience in radio, magazines, and digital media. She currently coordinates the Runrun.es investigative journalism team. She has been part of awarded investigations in Venezuela (four times awarded with the Periodismo de Investigación Ipys Venezuela First Prize) and Latin America (twice Premio Gabo finalist and Colpin). She is a member of the cross-border research project Dorada Opacidad and winner of the King of Spain International Journalism Prize.
