Lionel Donovan III

Lionel Donovan III is an international journalist with a 12-year career in broadcast news.
He got his start in Beijing, China, as an anchor for Blue Ocean Network. He then moved to Jacksonville, Florida, and worked for First Coast News. He soon headed back to Beijing to serve as a correspondent for CGTN.
After living in China for eight years, he moved to Nairobi, Kenya, and worked as a freelance producer. When he returned to the U.S., he worked in Washington, D.C., as a senior producer for TRT World, covering U.S. politics for an international audience.
Although Atlanta will always be home, he is now the Tacoma bureau chief for KING 5 News in Seattle.
