Lara Dihmis

Lara Dihmis is an investigator on the enterprise team of the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP).
She joined OCCRP in 2021 as a researcher, where she helped journalists track down individuals and companies with a focus on the Middle East/North Africa region. She has contributed to many cross-border investigations.
Before joining OCCRP, Dihmis was an editor with the Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ), where she worked on the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists’ (ICIJ's) FinCEN Files.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in Middle East politics from SOAS University of London.
