Karan Deep Singh

Karan Deep Singh is an Emmy-nominated journalist, filmmaker, editor, and photographer. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, The Globe and Mail, and others.
Singh has covered terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka, the labor shortage in Japan, and Myanmar’s military campaign that drove more than a million Rohingya refugees to neighboring Bangladesh.
Singh was part of the Journal team that was named a finalist for the 2020 Pulitzer Prize in Investigative Reporting for coverage of Amazon, the e-commerce retailer.
He started his career at the Hindustan Times, one of India’s largest English-language newspapers.
