Julie Winokur

Julie Winokur is a writer, documentary filmmaker, and pioneering multi-platform storyteller. She launched Talking Eyes in 2002 to create visual media that catalyzes positive social change.
Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, TIME, PBS, and National Geographic.
Winokur has received two Emmy nominations, is a National Geographic Explorer, and has been on the faculty of Rutgers University-Newark, the International Center of Photography, and Anderson Ranch Arts Center.
