Jude Isabella

Jude Isabella is the executive editor of bioGraphic. A science journalist for over 30 years, her main interests are the environment, ecology, and archaeology in her own writing.
Isabella has also written seven award-winning books for young readers on subjects that range from engineering to space to linguistics to ecology.
Her second book, Fantastic Feats and Failures (Kids Can Press, written under the authorship From the Editors of YES Mag), won the prestigious American Institute of Physics award in the children’s category.
The New York Public Library honored her latest book, Bringing Back the Wolves (Kids Can Press), as one of the Best Kids’ Books of 2020. Her book for adults, Salmon: a Scientific Memoir, published in 2014, was on the bestseller list in Canada and a required reading in various university environmental studies classes.
