Jihad Yazigi

Jihad Yazigi is a Syrian journalist and analyst who specialises in Syrian economic affairs. He is the founder and editor of The Syria Report, an online economics news bulletin, and co-founder of The Syrian Observer, which translates articles from Syrian publications into English.

Jihad has published various papers on Syria's war economy, decentralisation, on the regime's capitalisation on property destruction, on the impact of sanctions on the Syrian economy and on the consequences of the collapse of the Lebanese economy. He is on Twitter @jihadyazigi.
