Jessica Koscielniak

Jessica Koscielniak is an award-winning visual journalist based in Washington, D.C. Currently, she is a staff Senior Video Journalist for McClatchy's High Impact Team covering the Southeast region.
Prior to joining McClatchy, Koscielniak was a staff photographer and video journalist at the Chicago Sun-Times where her work focused on documenting the gun violence epidemic in Chicago's toughest neighborhoods.
Koscielniak originates from Northwest Indiana and has always had a passion for humanizing and documenting issue-related stories across the country.
