Jessica Benko


Jessica Benko is a print and radio journalist whose work can be found in National Geographic, Wired, This American Life, and elsewhere. She is drawn to stories about the lives of people on the margins of society, from the illegal gold mines of the Amazon to the barren tundra of the Arctic. Formerly a producer for WNYC's Radiolab and science editor for WNYC's Studio 360, she is also interested in stories of science and technology intersecting with individual human lives.
