Jani Purnawanty
GUEST SPEAKER
Jani Purnawanty has been a lecturer in undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University of Airlangga and a researcher since 1998. Her expertise includes international trade law, the law of treaties, cyber law, and bioethics in the cross-cutting issues perspective.
Purnawanty is active in several study centers, including the Airlangga Institute for International Law Studies (AIILS), Study Group on Law and Technology, law supporting SDGs, anti-corruption and criminal law policy, and renewable and sustainable energy. She has actively attended various international conferences and trainings in the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Purnawanty won Impact Seed Funding (ISF) consecutively in 2022 and 2023.
She is committed to educating society on academic platforms about the implications and mitigation of the impacts of climate change.
