Jaka Hendra Baittri started his journalism career in 2014 at the Jambi Tribune, part of the Kompas Gramedia group.
Since 2020, he has covered the Jambi region for Kompas.com. His coverage of the West Sumatra region has also been published by Mongabay Indonesia.
He is an active member of the Alliance of Independent Journalists.
