Iván Paredes Tamayo

Iván Paredes Tamayo is a Bolivian journalist with at least 18 years of experience in print media. He currently works in investigative journalism, specializing in environmental issues and transnational crime.
He was part of the Tierra de Resistentes team, which collaborated on a report that was a finalist for the 2021 Gabo Award, highlighting the attacks suffered by Indigenous leaders who are mistreated in their own territories.
As an investigative journalist for Revista Nómadas, along with Stasiek Czaplicki, he was awarded the Franz Tamayo Investigative Journalism Award.
