Isaiah Steinberg

Isaiah Steinberg is a junior at Northwestern University and print managing editor at The Daily Northwestern, with a focus on political and investigative journalism.
Steinberg has pioneered new reporting processes and initiatives at The Daily Northwestern and covered student groups, student activism, local government, international student visas, and academic integrity investigations, among other topics.
At The Daily, Steinberg has also served as campus editor, development and recruitment editor, copy editor, and several other editing and beat reporting roles. He has interned at the Las Vegas Review-Journal and contributed to The Washington Post, ProPublica, and George Washington University’s Planet Forward.
The Syracuse, New York, native is a three-time finalist for the Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence in Breaking News Reporting, Television General News Reporting, and Campus Reporting categories.
