Heather Harrison

Heather Harrison is a reporter at the Mississippi Free Press. Previously, she worked for the Starkville Daily News in Mississippi. Harrison has won more than a dozen awards for her multimedia journalism work.

Harrison graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in communication. She worked at the university's student newspaper, The Reflector, for three years, starting as a staff writer before becoming news editor and, later, editor-in-chief.
