Gregory Gilderman

Gregory Gilderman is the executive producer of digital video for The Weather Channel and an independent video journalist. He has worked at ABC News, CBS News, and PBS Frontline. In 2007 created the video content unit for Philly.com, the website for the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News. His writing has been featured in numerous publications and websites, including, most recently, Salon.com and Philadelphia magazine, in which he chronicled the resurgence of heroin abuse and trafficking among former pain pill addicts. In 2011, he received an H.F. Guggenheim fellowship for criminal justice reporting, and in 2007 he was a finalist for the Livingston Award, a prize that recognizes journalists under 35. He teaches at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
