Fahim (Lejon) Reese was born in 1970 in Richmond, California. At age 17 he was involved in a gang-related homicide and sentenced to 42 years to life in prison. In 2018, Fahim was deemed eligible for parole due to the passing of SB-260, and was later found suitable for release by the Board of Parole Hearings. After his release he enrolled and graduated from an apprenticeship program for metal workers. From there he has worked multiple blue collar jobs while opening up his own physical fitness program, Motivated 2 Help Others.
