Ella Chakarian
POST-GRAD REPORTING FELLOW
Ella Chakarian is a journalist originally from Los Angeles, California. She has written stories about culture, conflict, and human rights issues, among other topics. With the Pulitzer Center's support, she traveled to Armenia to report on the aftermath of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, with a focus on mounting political unrest in the region. She earned a B.A. in English, creative writing, and journalism from UC Berkeley and completed her M.S. in journalism at Columbia University in May 2024.
