Diana Taremwa Karakire

Diana Taremwa Karakire is a freelance environmental journalist based in Uganda.
In 2020, she was among eight young journalists in Africa participating in the Climate Tracker Environment reporting fellowship. She was also a 2021 gender justice fellow with the International Women’s Media Foundation and a 2021 and 2022 Indigenous stories grantee with Earth Journalism Network (EJN).
Her work has been published by Equal Times, Ubuntu Times, African Business magazine, Climate Tracker, and the Earth Journalism Network.
