Daniela Soares da Silva

Daniela Soares da Silva is a human and environmental rights activist in middle Xingu, Amazon, participating in such movements as the Xingu Women’s Collective, the Middle Xingu Collective, and the “Xingu Alive Forever” movement.
In 2021, she founded the Aldeias project, in Altamira, one of the most violent towns in Brazil. It aims to strengthen relations between children, youth, and the Amazon forest through artistic and socio-environmental actions.
