Claudia Amendoeira
2024 REPORTING FELLOW
Claudia Amendoeira is a Georgetown University undergraduate student majoring in international politics, with a concentration in international law and a minor in journalism. She writes for Georgetown’s student-run newspaper, The Hoya.
Amendoeira is the recipient of the Pulitzer Center 2024 International Reporting Fellowship, and her work will investigate how Afro-Brazilian religions are under attack by evangelicals in Rio de Janeiro.
She is an aspiring international correspondent. She has done research with a CNN reporter and interned with a photojournalist.
