Dr. Christy Stanley

Dr. Christy Stanley has proudly served the students and teachers of North Carolina for the past 23 years. Throughout her career, she has held progressively responsible positions ranging from classroom teacher, mentor, Gifted Coordinator, to her current role as the Director of Humanities in Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools. She works with secondary English and Social Studies teachers in developing core curriculum to meet the needs of all students. Dr. Stanley is passionate about providing high quality professional development and support for all of her teachers. Her passion centers around supporting staff in creating and delivering a culturally relevant curriculum where all students are heard and seen.
