Camille Maubert

Camille Maubert is a writer and researcher at the Institute of Development Studies and a doctoral candidate at the University of Edinburgh. She writes about gender-based violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the ways in which communities work together to tackle harmful practices and empower women and girls.
Maubert is also a humanitarian and development practitioner who worked for several years in NGOs on gender, exploitation, and trafficking in post-conflict settings.
