Beth LaBerge

Beth LaBerge, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is a visual journalist and documentary photographer. 

After studying cultural anthropology at San Francisco State University, LaBerge enrolled in a photojournalism program at the local city college. Photography is where she found her voice. 

As a staff photographer for KQED, an NPR affiliate in San Francisco, since 2020, LaBerge has engaged deeply with the communities shaping the region. 

Her interest lies in documenting personal narratives that serve as windows into larger issues, with a specific interest in housing, climate, and women's rights.
