Ben Blankenship is the lead video producer at The Outlaw Ocean Project, a nonprofit journalism organization based in Washington, D.C., that produces investigative stories about human rights, labor, and environmental concerns on the two-thirds of the planet covered by water.
Previously, he worked as a documentary filmmaker and photographer at Backcountry Journeys. He received a bachelor's degree in film/cinema/video studies from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.
