Antonio Mundaca

For 16 years, Antonio Mundaca has covered drug trafficking, structural violence, and human rights in the southeast of Mexico. He specializes in narrative journalism.
He is a correspondent in Oaxaca, Mexico, for El Universal and a contributor to media outlets such as Pie de Página and Revista Gatopardo. He co-founded Elmuromx and is a current member of Red de Periodistas de A Pie.
Mundaca has received scholarships from the Gabo Foundation and the Consortium to Support Regional Journalism in Latin America.
