Andreea Campeanu is a Romanian photojournalist whose work was published and exhibited internationally. She holds a MA in Visual Anthropology.
Andreea's work often focuses on documenting issues related to displacement and the effects of conflict. She has covered the ramifications of war in South Sudan and Central African Republic. She also frequently covers arts, fashion and sports culture in marginalised countries or communities.
In Romania, her work focuses on the intersection between arts and activism, sex industry, the effects and reasons for migration, marginalised communities and women’s stories. She is also interested in documenting issues related to identity, beauty, the idea of home. Now based in Cluj, Romania, she has lived and worked in Sudan, South Sudan, Madagascar and Lebanon.
