Abdullahi Tsanni

Abdullahi Tsanni is a science journalist specializing in narrative features. He has written about scientists and issues broadly related to infectious diseases, global health, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and the scientific enterprise.
His stories have been published in Nature, STAT News, the British Medical Journal, Popular Science, among other outlets.
Tsanni studied biochemistry at Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria, his home country, and earned a master’s degree in science writing at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He currently lives in Washington, D.C.
